Daily Schedule
7:00am - 8:30am (Early
Care Begins at 7am)
Early Morning Care ~ Non-Academic
time in which I tend to my family while caring for the children. I will be
preparing meals, getting my children ready for their school day. The
children in my care will be in the family room-kitchen area of my home,
watching morning educational programs, eating their provided breakfast.
8-8:20am I take my children to their elementary school 1/4 mile from our
location. All children must arrive before 8:00am if they are enrolled in the
Early Morning Care. All children will travel in my SUV with provided Britax
carseats.
8:30am - 9:30am
(Morning & School Day Classes Begin at 8:30am)
Montessori Work ~ Engage in Classroom Activities
worked on daily. Children go into two small groups with each teacher, up to six
children for the infant/young toddler side & up to six children for the
older toddler/preschool side of the
classroom.
9:30am - 10:00am
Circletime/Job Presentation ~ Sing songs, weather report.
New material presentation, Spanish object
presentation; work on Upper & Lowercase Letters & Phonics, Numbers, Colors & Shapes. Children are all together for
group Presentation.
10:00am - 11:00am
Outdoor Play ~ Clean playground tiles, age appropriate toddler climbing
structure, toddler merry-go-round, toddler ride-on toys, Large grassy area
for sports, and child sized picnic table. If weather is not favorable we will do
coloring, painting, or watercolors indoors.
11:00am - 11:30am
Clean up/Lunch ~ Clean up,
prepare and serve lunch. They eat a provided meal of protein, starch, veggies,
fruit, & milk. When weather is favorable, we will eat outside at the picnic tables.
11:30am - 12:00pm
(Morning Class Ends at 12pm)
Storytime - Read books that change monthly. Wind down for
naptime and departure.
12:00pm - 1:00pm
Naptime/Rest Period~ All children
2 yr or older will sleep on their own mat, with napping bed, pillow & blanket.
All infants under 2 yrs old will sleep in separate pack & play beds. Parents will
provide pack & play beds for infants. Children who have grown out of napping
may choose a quiet activity such as an educational video or reading books.
Children that need to sleep beyond 1:00pm may continue to do so and join the
group when they are awake from their nap. Children over 3 yrs old may join our
Afternoon Classes if they no longer need a nap.
1:00pm - 2:00pm (Afternoon Class Begins)

2:00pm - 2:30pm

2:30pm - 2:45pm
Transition/Snack - Put away beds, check/change diapers,
toilet learners use the bathroom, wash up for snack of filtered water/ juice and
starch/protein/fruit.
2:45pm - 3:30pm
(School Day One ends at 3pm)

3:30pm - 4:00pm
(School Day Two/Ext Day Two at 4pm)
Storytime - Read books that change monthly. Prepare for
departure and school day to end.
4:00pm - 5:00pm (Extended Care ends at 5pm)
Extended Afternoon Care ~ Non-Academic Time, is the time I
tend to my family while caring for the children. I will be helping my children
with their homework, and preparing our dinner. The children in my care will be
in the family room-kitchen area of my home, watching educational programs.
School Closes Promptly at 5:00pm daily
