August Curriculum
For August’s Curriculum, will be focusing on Summer, Wildlife Safari, Zoo Animals, the Rainforest and Jungle, and the continent of Africa. The outdoor courtyard will have new activities to reflect our August curriculum with a new sensory box, and new materials on the outdoor shelves. We will also have new songs to sing, books to read, and curriculum related art. Curriculum-based Excursions for August For the month of August, we have a few fun ideas for places you could visit, considering our Wildlife theme. You could visit the Sacramento Zoo, http://www.saczoo.org/, and enjoy all of the wild animals they care for. A place in the Bay Area to visit would be the San Francisco Zoo, http://www.sfzoo.org, where there are many amazing animal exhibits to explore. You can “visit” the San Diego Zoo https://kids.sandiegozoo.org/videos and enjoy all of the wild animals they care for via live cams in your home. They have many different animals to interact with. Another place to “visit” virtually, would be the Georgia Aquarium to watch the African penguins swim and play https://www.georgiaaquarium.org/webcam/african-penguin-cam/ Material Fees Due in September Next month, the $90.00 material fee per child, will be due with the September tuition payment. This material fee helps cover the cost of new classroom materials throughout the year to keep our environment looking fresh and new. We appreciate you providing this yearly Material Fee.
